As a Walking Coach®, I am also a Trauma-informed Leadership and Team Coach. I facilitate stronger self-awareness, build deeper resilience, and develop an expanded sense of growth and interconnectedness in my clients.

Transformative Coaching with a Trauma-Informed Approach

Experiencing trauma is a common part of the human experience. Trauma can result from various situations, including accidents, natural disasters, violence, loss, or any event that overwhelms an individual's ability to cope.

Trauma responses are normal reactions to abnormal events. People process and react to trauma in different ways, and there is no "right" or "wrong" way to feel or respond. Trauma-informed coaches understand the presence of trauma in a coaching situation and how it may show up at any time in a client’s thoughts, feelings and actions.

Through our work leaders gain confidence, clarity, direction, and purpose. They learn how to self-regulate when confronted with difficult or triggering situations, and they are coached to develop their strengths, resilience and abilities to facilitate self-healing and growth. The rewards for those who commit to this journey include greater fulfilment, effectiveness in facing challenges, a stronger sense of inner peace, and improved connections in all areas of life.

Our process includes deep listening, creative visioning, intuitive questioning, insightful observations, and actions. We use techniques concerning brain-body connection, nervous system regulation, understanding behavioural reactions, ritual-based habit-building, stress management and mindfulness.

Nature immersion is at the heart of our programmes, fostering learning through curiosity, appreciation, and respect for natural systems. This connection to nature enhances the healing process, providing a serene and supportive environment for growth.
